I thought I had a post about Mo's Seafood in Towson, MD [East Joppa Road] already but I guess I didn't. Well, I used to recommend them to all my friends because we loved how the food tastes, even for breakfast. But after our experience during Mother's Day, no-oh! I am taking back what I said to my friends.
The weather was nice that Mother's Day so we decided to dine outside even if the shade provided by the umbrella can't really 'fit' us all. Anyway, so, they give complimentary bread with butter. Normally, it doesn't include crackers because it's supposed to be partnered with soup, right? Look at what they gave us.
At first, I thought it only melted due to the hot weather. |
Then I tried to investigate further. |
And voila! That's how it looked like! Don't tell me it hasn't been used. |
I thought the "unreplenished" sugar packets' container was filthy too. Only white sugar, seriously? I can take it but no sugar substitute, you are definitely not getting broke! |
We told the server about it before we left but she looked like she didn't care at all and I never heard an apology. So we decided to call the manager and told her about the case. She said it must have been melted butter, but it's not. Then I showed her the opened crackers. And told her about the iced tea with an insect! Yes, it was like a fruit fly but I wasn't able to take a photo of it anymore because we hurriedly walked out after talking to the manager. The manager said she can't do anything about the insect because we dined out, which I think was acceptable.
But what a disgusting experience during Mother's Day! Now I wonder how they prepare the food they serve. Never going back to Mo's Seafood again! First time I experienced something like that. Eeew! I really do hope it was just an isolated case. Hate to see it happens again. They shouldn't have given that 'free' stuff if they just re-use other customer's leftovers!
