I just made some slight changes, instead of using 1 cup of white sugar, I used 1/4 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. I also added a teaspoon of vanilla. I would have added some peanuts on top just for presentation but I guess I'd need to make a quick trip to the grocery store to do so, so never mind. There's actually no need to put more peanut butter in a peanut butter batter (say that three times). I guess using Skippy is the main reason, it already tastes great!
Since my daughter was so eager to eat some cookies, I didn't have time to cool my batter, I immediately scooped it in the baking sheet. I didn't even read the instructions, I guess I should have put them three inches apart instead of two. Anyway, they turned out great and here's the outso.
There you go, don't they look tempting? If you don't have one at home, I linked the recipe, it so easy! And remember, the taste will be dependent on the peanut butter you have, so use a well-known brand, I trust Skippy!

These seem so yummy! I love peanut butter so making cookies out of it sounds totally amazing.
ReplyDeleteThat is the brand that my family loves. Skippy is the best!
ReplyDeleteI use Jiffy when I make my peanut butter cookies. This is the only recipe I know when making peanut butter cookies. It's my go-to for my cookie tins. I'm going to make me some now.
ReplyDeleteYes- they look tempting lol .Now I have to make some. =)
ReplyDeletePeanut butter cookies are my favorite! We can never wait to eat homemade cookies, they are usually gone before they are even cooled!
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious. I am currently on Nutrisystem so i can't have these.
ReplyDeleteOH YUM! My son will go nuts over these, and I'll give him some for his birthday coming up. I will be No. 1 Mom again! hehehehe

ReplyDeleteI've never made peanut butter cookies. I did make my own peanut butter once and lesson learned .. I'll buy deshelled peanuts next time. The time it took me to crack open all of the shells was ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteI never really tried but I definitely am curious how it would taste like!
ReplyDeleteI love peanut butter cookies! I'll have to try this version!
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy. And these look easy enough for and baking-challenged person like me. And I wonder how different styles of peanut butter effect the flavor.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so yummy, I love making them for Christmas. I love the flourless part too since my MIL has celiac disease.
ReplyDeleteOur cookies always smoosh together too, but it doesn't make them any less yummy. :) I like peanut butter cookies, I'm not adverse to trying them w/o flour.
ReplyDeleteI've made this recipe before and simply love it! So easy and I have all the ingredients here!!
