I have been looking around for a product like KitchenIQ's V-Etched Container Grater for awhile and I am so glad to finally find it! I swear I really love this product the very moment I opened the box! Look at how neatly each was packaged. It even has a warning, that red label thing, that says "Caution: Sharp Blades | Use care when using and removing blades from container". Sure, sometimes we really have to be reminded.
I can name a dozen of things this grater can do. So I guess we should start now!
1) It comes with four blades, three of which are v-etched and comes in different sizes to accommodate your needs.
2) The blades I was talking about, has a signature non-stick coating. FYI, the patent for this v-etched blade is already pending ;)
3) The container also serves as the storage to all four graters. When I got this I was really worried as to where I will store those super sharp blades and then I realized I can put it inside. LOL!
4) If you're not using the blades, it comes with a black cover where you can store the ingredients you grated (or not) and it seals really well. You store it in the fridge or wherever and use it when you're ready.
5) It has a non-slip base so you can grate on any surface without having to worry about it slipping. Look at where I'm pointing, that gray oblong thing makes sure it doesn't slip.
6) It includes measurements in mL and cups! Don't you agree this is very helpful? Very much so, I think!7) There's a small portion which I call the handle that you can hold (of course) for a more sturdy use.
8) It makes it easy to prepare ingredients in bulk and transfer it. Don't worry with the bare hands, we're the ones going to eat the minerals that come with it anyway. LOL!
9) The blades are easy to clean, maybe because of the non-stick feature. But of course, it's color-coated so you may want to take care of it when washing. I sure won't want to see any scratches on mine.
10) The design. That's one of the things that caught my attention. Well, I honestly don't know what adjective to use to describe it, if you can see the pictures, what do you think is the right word to use? :D
I started loving this brand after trying their Angle Adjust Manual Knife Sharpener and Potato Tool. If you would like to learn more about their products, visit the KitchenIQ website. You can also find them via Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

ReplyDeleteThat is very cool.. i only have seen the original steel ones that cut your fingers.
ReplyDeleteI am buying this RIGHT NOW! I am so tired of my giant grater. This one is small and compact and has the measuring cup feature too...awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of this grater. My grater is a hassle to clean and I love that yours has non stick coating. Very cool idea.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a really great grater. I love all the different blade options you have.
ReplyDeleteA great tool for any kitchen. The design caught my attention . I like that you can leave whatever you grate in the containers and store away in the fridge, especially when grating cheese. The non slip base is a great feature. Very cool, thanks for sharing

ReplyDeleteI have a grater and honestly, my husband uses it for the dead skin on his feet LOL. Obv, we don't use it for food.
ReplyDeleteI have your regular dollar store cheap one which means I'm constantly buying a new one. I have wanted to purchase a pampered chef one but it is too much for me. I may have to check this out, it has all the same features as the one I've been looking at.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really nice grater. Mine is an old metal one that is not nearly that nice. I would love to have yours instead!
ReplyDeleteI love the no-stick feature that makes it easy to clean. I haven't used a grater for years because they're difficult to clean without grazing my knuckles. This may change my mind. :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it's going to be very easy to clean and grate with. Much easier than my old fashion one. Maybe I won't scrape my fingers so much when I do grate.
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that it has a beautiful storage container at the bottom of the gratter. Usually, this kind of kitchen accessory sold in the market only have a plastic container at the bottom to catch the grated cheese, a simple one in my opinion not like what is pictured above.
ReplyDeleteOk, I have to get one of those now. I love that it has a piece that attaches to catch what your grating, so cool!
ReplyDeleteOk, now that's a cool grater! I'm definitely putting this on my Christmas list!
ReplyDeleteMy current grater has a storage container on it too but I like the horizontal design of this one.
ReplyDeleteI love this grater! I had one at one point, but I think it ran away, totally entered, i need a multi-purpose one for sure. They have tons of cool gadgets, I def like the spice grater and the lemon zester for sure.
