Out-of-the-box Card Ideas

One of you will either send or receive a card this season and you'll know why at the end of the post. First, I wanted to share some other things you can do with cards this season.

Since it's quickly approaching, I just thought of an idea on what to do with cards this Thanksgiving. While browsing Treat.com I thought... How about giving your guests a card like the one below and then put your guests name in each card. Pass it along after eating the turkey so each can write what is s/he thankful for about that person. This will surely lighten up everyone's day. It'll be heartfelt and you, for sure will be remembered as a nice host!

For Christmas, why not pass on the ornaments and use cards instead? The card I found has a nice layout. You can showcase a photo and also personalize the text with Treat.com. There are so many designs you can choose from to decorate your tree. Some have more photos and are more colorful. It all depends on your taste!

This last card is for birthdays and I thought of something hilarious. Why not bake a super duper out-of-this-world mac-and-cheese and top it with the card below? If the celebrator doesn't like something consumable, then maybe put a gift card somewhere in the mac-and-cheese, but be sure to cover it with plastic!

So, those were just a few things that crossed my mind today. You can try a FREE Treat card by using the code TREATBLOGR. The promotion code will be valid for two days - November 19, Monday and November 20, Tuesday. Take advantage of it and tell me what you ordered!

Your Soon-to-be Favorite Holiday Cards

Tiny Prints is one of top sites I have in mind for all occasions. They have a wide selection of products from stationery, photo gifts to photobooks and most specially, card. Just recently, Tiny Prints launched their Premium DoubleThick  matte paper, their most luxurious card stock yet. So, specifically for this season, I will focus on reviewing their Holiday Cards! Below, you will find three of my favorites:

Share the Joy

Handwritten Wish

Radiant Greetings

So, how do I compare Tiny Prints cards to other makers?
  1. You can totally personalize it! Add text of your own or put a favorite quote and of course, place the picture/s you want to show off! There are also non-photo cards available.
  2. You have the option to choose whether the sides of the card is rounded [e.g. Share the Joy] or pointed [e.g. Radiant Greetings].
  3. You can choose the size you like, rectangular, square or round ones, which is now becoming my favorite because I can already make them Christmas ornaments!
  4. It's easy to switch the layout from portrait to landscape.
  5. You can put your address on the envelope and/or send it directly to the intended person/s.

If you'd like to try Tiny Prints this year, do not forget to visit their Special Offers page so you can save more! Don't forget to add Tiny Prints to your social medias:
